Slim is the most popular format of Siberia chewing tobacco: narrower and longer pouches than Regular that sit more discreetly under the lip. It is the only format available here in all three varieties — plus a Softpack and the bulk size.
The five versions
| Version | Flavor | Moisture | Packaging | Nicotine |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| White Dry Red Slim | Mint, cool | White Dry | Can | approx. 43 mg/g |
| White Dry Black Slim | Tobacco, bold | White Dry | Can | approx. 43 mg/g |
| White Blue Slim | Mint, clean | White | Can | approx. 24 mg/g |
| −80 °C Red Slim Softpack | Mint | Softpack | Softpack | approx. 43 mg/g |
| White Dry Red 500 g Slim | Mint, cool | White Dry | Box | approx. 43 mg/g |
Three varieties, two strengths
In the Slim format, the choice is first about strength. Red and Black are at approx. 43 mg per gram, Blue at approx. 24. The gap is almost half, not a nuance.
Then comes the flavor: Red is cool mint, Blue clean mint, Black tobacco-forward without cooling. That makes Black the only variety in which the tobacco taste is in the foreground instead of being masked.
Why Slim is the best-selling format
The pouch is narrower and longer than in the Regular format. As a result, it lies flatter under the lip and is less noticeable from the outside — that is why Slim is clearly ahead of the other sizes in search queries. The chewing tobacco inside is the same as in the Regular and Mini formats: Red stays Red, regardless of pouch size.
The net content differs by format but is no basis for comparison — the pouch sizes follow no standard. Only the figure in milligrams per gram is comparable.
Can, Softpack or box
The can is the usual packaging, with a lid compartment for used pouches. The Softpack is a soft pack with the same contents: flatter and lighter, but without a lid compartment and less resistant to pressure. The 500 g box is the bulk size with loose pouches — sensible once variety and format are settled.
Frequently asked questions about the Slim format
How much nicotine does Siberia Slim have?
That depends on the variety: Red and Black are at approx. 43 mg per gram, Blue at approx. 24. The format does not change that.
Is Slim weaker than Regular?
No. The same variety has the same concentration in every format. The Slim pouch is narrower; that changes how it sits under the lip, not the declaration.
Which varieties are available as Slim?
All three: Red, Black and Blue. Plus the Red Softpack and the 500 g box.
What is Siberia Slim White Dry?
Red and Black in the Slim format are White Dry — the pouch is extra dry on the outside. Blue is White and therefore slightly moister. More on this under Siberia White Dry.
Which Slim to start with?
Blue, because of the lower concentration.
Sold only to persons aged 18 and over. Nicotine is addictive.
