Red is the widest line of Siberia chewing tobacco. It is the only variety available in all three can sizes and additionally as a Softpack. The flavor is a cool mint; in the White Dry version the pouches are extra dry on the outside. The nicotine concentration is approx. 43 mg per gram, as with Black. Only Blue is lower, at approx. 24.

The five versions

Version Format Packaging Nicotine
White Dry Red Mini Mini Can approx. 43 mg/g
White Dry Red Slim Slim Can approx. 43 mg/g
White Dry Red Regular Regular Can approx. 43 mg/g
−80 °C Red Slim Softpack Slim Softpack approx. 43 mg/g
−80 °C Red Softpack Regular Softpack approx. 43 mg/g

Which pouch size

The chewing tobacco is the same in all formats. The pouch size determines the amount that sits under the lip. The three formats differ in pouch size, each with approx. twenty pouches.

  • Mini — the smallest pouch size, the most discreet under the lip
  • Slim — narrower and longer, the best-selling size
  • Regular — wider and shorter, fullest mouthfeel

Can or Softpack

The Softpack is a soft pack for the same chewing tobacco, instead of the rigid plastic can. It is flatter and lighter but has no lid compartment for used pouches and protects the contents less against pressure in a pocket. Recipe, flavor and nicotine content are identical.

The flavor

Red is the best-selling Siberia chewing tobacco and is mint-flavored. The White Dry version has pouches that are extra dry on the outside — this also changes how the flavor develops: the mint builds up instead of being there immediately. If you prefer it more direct, you will find that in Blue in the moister White version.
