Blue is the only variety of Siberia chewing tobacco in the White version. The pouch is slightly moister than with White Dry — and Blue is the only variety that is not at 43 mg per gram but at approx. 24. The flavor is a clear mint without the tobacco-forward undertone of Black. The concentration is approx. 24 mg per gram — the only Siberia variety below 43.

The two versions

Version Format Moisture Nicotine
White Blue Slim Slim White approx. 24 mg/g
White Blue Regular Regular White approx. 24 mg/g

Blue is available as Slim and as Regular — both chewing tobacco in portion pouches. There is no Mini format for Blue — the smallest pouch size is offered by Red and Black.

White instead of White Dry

That is the one difference in the pouch. White pouches are slightly moister, White Dry pouches extra dry on the outside. The other difference is on the can: 24 versus 43 mg per gram. The White Dry variants behave the other way round: delayed onset, a longer and more even progression.

That is a property of the pouch, not a statement about strength. If you are used to White Dry, you will notice the difference mainly in the first few minutes — Blue comes through sooner.

The flavor

A clear mint. Red is also mint-flavored and, at 43 mg per gram, considerably higher. Red is also mint-flavored but builds up more slowly. Both are at the same concentration; the difference is the progression.

Who Blue is for

For anyone who wants Siberia chewing tobacco at the milder level or prefers pouches that feel less dry. The Regular format is the choice if you want a larger pouch.

Frequently asked questions

How much nicotine does Siberia Blue have?

Approx. 24 mg per gram, the same in both versions. That is a good half of Red and Black, which are at approx. 43 mg per gram.

What is the difference between Siberia Blue and Red?

Strength and moisture. Blue is at approx. 24 mg per gram and is White, Red is at approx. 43 and is White Dry. Both are mint-flavored.

No, only as Slim and as Regular.

Is Siberia Blau the same as Siberia Blue?

Yes. The variety is called Blue; “Siberia Blau” is the common German spelling.

Which format has the largest pouches?

The Regular format has the largest pouches, Mini the smallest. The net content differs by format and is not a measure of strength — that is what the value in mg per gram is for.
